Master of English Education Study Program Holds Community Service at the Quran Education Foundation in Kisaran

The Head and Secretary of the Master of English Education Study Program conducted community service activities at the Quran Education Foundation (YPQ) Kisaran on May 7, 2024. This activity is an initiative in order to support the development of English language competence while enriching Islamic education among YPQ students.

In this activity, the Head and Secretary of the Study Program, accompanied by several lecturers and students of the Master of English Education Program, provided basic English training which included conversation, pronunciation, and language comprehension skills for the students. The learning method used focuses on an interactive approach, so that students can learn in a more creative and fun way.

In addition to the English training, the Head of Study Program also led a discussion with YPQ teachers regarding teaching strategies and methods that can support the integration of English into the Islamic education curriculum at the foundation. The Study Program Secretary also provided materials on classroom management and project-based learning approaches that can motivate students in developing language skills.

This activity received appreciation from the leadership of YPQ Kisaran who stated that this training was very useful for improving the quality of education at the foundation. They hope that this collaboration can continue, so that students can master English for further education and daily life.

At the end of the event, the Head of Study Program said that this activity is part of their commitment to apply the knowledge gained on campus directly to the community. It is hoped that through this activity, English teaching at YPQ Kisaran can develop and have a positive impact on students in increasing their competence in the global era.
