The Master’s Program in English Education at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) of North Sumatera has achieved a remarkable national milestone by securing 1st place among all State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri / PTKIN) in Indonesia based on SINTA publication performance. This achievement is based on the three-year SINTA Score, which places the program at the top position nationwide within the PTKIN category.

According to official data from the SINTA database, the Master’s Program in English Education UIN of North Sumatera earned a SINTA score of 3.780, significantly outperforming other similar programs at PTKIN institutions across Indonesia. The ranking reflects the productivity, consistency, and academic impact of lecturers’ and students’ scholarly publications in reputable national journals indexed by SINTA.

This accomplishment positions UIN of North Sumatera ahead of other leading PTKIN institutions, including UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, UIN Salatiga, and several other prominent State Islamic universities. Therefore, we are fully committed to continuing our efforts to defend this ranking and further strengthen our academic impact in the coming years,” he stated.
