In a move aimed at strengthening academic ties and enhancing research capacity, the Master’s Program of English Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah Science and Teacher Training at UIN North Sumatra Medan, has signed an Implementation Arrangement with the Master’s Program of Linguistics, Faculty of Cultural Science at Brawijaya University.
The signing was represented by Maslathif Dwi Purnomo, Ph.D, a head of Master’s Program of English Education, FITK – UINSU and Syariful Muttaqin, Ph.D. a Head of Master of Linguistics, Faculty of Cultural Science, Brawijaya University. The collaboration focuses on fostering joint academic efforts including research initiatives, faculty exchange programs, and joint seminars and conferences. This partnership will provide students and faculty with enhanced opportunities for academic growth and cross-institutional collaboration.
The agreement aligns with UINSU’s broader goal of improving its academic standing and gaining international recognition. Meanwhile, Brawijaya University sees this collaboration as a strategic effort to expand its research output in the fields of linguistics and English education.
