To improve the quality of education in the S-2 English Tadris (TBI) of the Study Program, an evaluation meeting to update the curriculum and work program was held. The meeting was attended by permanent lecturers of the S-2 TBI Study Program and it aimed to evaluate and update the curriculum and work program to fulfil the requirements of the current era and cater to the educational needs of students.
The meeting, which took place on Friday, September 8, 2023, is a proactive step from the S-2 TBI Study Program in maintaining the quality of education at the postgraduate level. The Head attended the event and Secretary of the S-2 TBI Study Program and all permanent lecturers of the S-2 TBI Study Program, and Mr. Maslathif Dwi Purnomo, Ph.D., as the head of the study program said, “The purpose of this evaluation meeting is to assess both the previous and revised curriculum in alignment with the anticipated outcomes outlined in the vision, mission, and objectives of the S-2 TBI Study Program.”
In the curriculum evaluation session, the lecturers were actively involved in the discussion to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum. They also offered suggestions on modifications that could be implemented to enhance the curriculum’s adaptability and applicability to the professional requirements of graduates.
In addition, the meeting also discussed the renewal of the S-2 TBI Study Program work program. Lecturers are involved in formulating strategies to improve the effectiveness of learning, research, and community service within the study program. The updated curriculum and work program are expected to make a greater contribution to achieving the vision and mission of the S-2 TBI Study Program.
This evaluation meeting is not only a discussion forum but also a forum to improve communication and cooperation between permanent lecturers of the S-2 TBI Study Program. The exchange of ideas and views is expected to strengthen collaboration in carrying out academic tasks and increase the competitiveness of the S-2 TBI Study Program at the national and international levels. Thus, this evaluation meeting is important in bringing positive changes and improving educational standards in the S-2 Tadris English Study Program. (Ba)
