The Master’s Program in English Education of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), UIN Sumatera Utara proudly announces another international achievement accomplished by one of its lecturers, Ahmad Amin Dalimunthe, Ph.D, who has been selected to participate in the Proficiency Development Programme for English Teachers (Iteration-I) organized by the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad, India.
The program will take place from January 6 to February 16, 2026, and is part of the prestigious Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme fully supported by the Government of India. The official confirmation of his acceptance was issued through a formal letter from the Consulate General of India in Medan, stating that his nomination had been approved by the Government of India.
This international training program is specifically designed to strengthen the competencies of English educators through advanced pedagogical approaches, innovative teaching methodologies, and professional development practices aligned with international standards. Participation in this program reflects the growing recognition of UINSU lecturers within the global academic community and demonstrates the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration.
As a lecturer of the Master’s Program in English Education, Ahmad Amin Dalimunte, Ph.D’s participation is expected to contribute significantly to the enhancement of English language teaching quality, curriculum development, and international academic engagement within the program. The experience and knowledge gained from this program are also anticipated to enrich classroom learning and inspire students to actively engage in global academic opportunities.
